What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Server data/server log files
Data transmitted by your web browser is collected for technical reasons. This data includes:
your browser and version
your operating system
your Internet Protocol (IP) address
the web page you are viewing
the date and time of your access
the referring web page
Mailing List
The Mailing List is used for periodically sending out information about new and forthcoming publications, as well as other pieces of news pertinent to Breviary Stuff. The subscription process uses double opt-in whereby a confirmation email is sent to the provided address. You are not subscribed, and will not receive Mailing List messages, until you click the link in the email message confirming your subscription.
When you subscribe to the Mailing List we collect your email address, your IP number, and the date that you subscribed.
You can unsubscribe at any time. An unsubscribe link is contained at the foot of every message sent via the Mailing List. Additionally you can send an email to info@breviarystuff.org.uk requesting that you be unsubscribed.
Contact Form
This website provides a Contact Form. When you use the Contact Form we collect your email address, your IP number, and the date that the message was sent. Your message may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Ordering
PayPal
If payment is made using PayPal, we transfer the details of your order and your name and address to PayPal. In the process, Breviary Stuff does not and cannot access your bank details or payment card details. You can find information on PayPal’s data privacy here.
Cryptocurrencies
If payment is made using cryptocurrencies we require the delivery name and address.
Shipping
Shipping is sometimes done inhouse and sometimes provided by Ingram. Only the data required for order processing is given to Ingram. You can find information on Ingram’s data privacy here.
How we protect your data
We use SSL encryption to protect your data while in transit.
We never share your data with any third parties other than those required to process your order, as mentioned above.
We regularly purge the order database and delete all names and addresses which are no longer needed.
